"Too generic and not handled with much care"
This felt way too generic for my sport and didn’t really give me anything useful or specific. It also seemed like it was put together carelessly, like no one really took the time to understand what I actually needed. Not worth it for me...

"Helpful, but I wish recovery felt more dialed in"
I started using Volt after dealing with a cranky knee, mostly because I wanted to stay active without constantly guessing what was safe to do. The warmups and strength workouts were solid, and it did help me stick to a routine better than I would have on my own.
That said, there were times when I was already sore and the workouts still felt like too much. I also got a little frustrated waiting for my knee to feel better while the recovery advice stayed basic. It’s a good app overall, but I wouldn’t say it’s amazing if you’re specifically trying to rehab something...

"Pretty good value for what you pay"
I picked Volt mostly because it seemed a lot cheaper than getting a trainer, and so far it feels like I’m getting roughly what I hoped for, maybe even a little more.

The app isn’t perfect, and a few of the plans feel kind of basic, but for the price it’s hard to be too picky. I like being able to go at my own pace and not feel locked into a strict schedule.

I’d probably give it 5 stars if some of the exercises had a bit more explanation or guidance. Still, overall, it’s a solid deal for around the cost.

"Could use more variety, at least for me"
I’m not saying the workouts are bad or anything, they’re fine overall. But for me, I got bored with them quickly. A lot of the programs started to feel kind of similar, and if your goals shift a bit, there doesn’t seem to be a ton of different options to choose from. Maybe it works great for other people, but I just wish there was more variety.

"Surprisingly painless to use"
I used voltathletics.com it was easier than I expected. The site isn’t exactly flashy or anything, but I found what I needed quickly and didn’t have to fight my way through a bunch of confusing pages. Everything loaded fine, checkout was simple, and it just kind of did its job without making me think too much. Sometimes that’s all you really need.

"Reliable app, though I was skeptical after paying"
I’ve been using Volt Athletics for a while now, and it’s been solid. I’ll admit I was a little suspicious after paying, because I’ve had apps look good at first and then start acting up once they already have your money. But so far, this one hasn’t really given me any issues. Workouts load quickly, my progress saves like it should, and I haven’t dealt with random crashes like I have with other fitness apps. Nothing too flashy to say, it just works when I need it to, and I’m happy with it.

"I used voltathletics.com mainly for the exercise demos..."
I used voltathletics.com mainly for the exercise demos, and overall they do the job. The videos are helpful for getting the basic movements down, but a few of them move a little fast, so I had to replay them a couple times to catch everything. More camera angles or beginner-friendly tips would make them way better. Still, it’s a decent resource if you already have a general idea of what you’re doing.

"Progress tracking could be better"
The workouts themselves are fine, like I can get through them and they make sense. But the progress tracking feels kinda messy. I’m trying to see if I’m actually getting stronger or improving, and it’s not really clear. Half the time I’m just flipping around, trying to figure out what changed from last week, and it feels like I’m guessing more than actually tracking anything.

"Good for staying motivated, but not perfect"
Volt Athletics has been helpful for keeping me on track, honestly. When I try to work out completely on my own, I tend to drift a bit, so having a plan laid out, and something to check off, made a difference. It gives you that little sense of accountability, which I liked.

That said... it’s not perfect. Some of the workouts started to feel repetitive after a while, and I do wish there was more real personal feedback instead of just following the program. It’s decent if you need a push, but for the price, I’m not blown away. Three stars feels about right...

"This has made it much easier for me..."
This has made it much easier for me to keep my coaches and teams organized. It’s simple to use and saves me a lot of time. There are a couple of small things I’d tweak, but nothing that gets in the way

"Better than I expected, honestly"
I wasn’t really expecting the plans to fit me all that well, but the workouts have actually been close to my level. They’re not perfect every single week, but compared to trying to figure it all out on my own, it’s a big improvement.

"Didn’t really hit the mark for me"
The site works fine enough, so I wouldn’t say it’s terrible, but it wasn’t really my thing. I found it a little confusing to get around, and support took longer than I expected to get back to me. I can see how it might work better for someone else, but for me, it just didn’t feel worth it

"Didn’t really feel like it was made for me"
I stuck with the training for a few weeks, but i didn’t notice much improvement. The workouts themselves were fine, just kind of all over the place for where I’m at. I’m guessing maybe they use a general plan and hope it fits most people, because it didn’t really feel tailored to me. It might work better for someone else, but for me it didn’t make much of a difference.

"Billing was confusing and canceling was a hassle!!!"
I had a frustrating experience with the subscription!!! I ended up getting charged when I really didn’t think I was going to be, and trying to cancel was way more confusing than it should’ve been!!! I reached out to support, but they took too long to get back to me and didn’t really solve much anyway. Overall, it just felt annoying and not worth the trouble!!!

"Had a frustrating time with support"
I tried reaching out to Volt Athletics support after a buddy from my gym recommended the app, but it was frustrating. The replies took longer than I expected, and when I finally heard back, the answers didn’t really solve the issue. It felt like I was just going back and forth without getting anywhere. I really wanted it to work out, but the support experience wasn’t great.

"I like that it works with the gear..."
I like that it works with the gear I already have, so I didn’t have to go out and buy extra stuff. That part was really convenient. I just wish the support or guidance felt a little more responsive, because at times it felt like I was kind of on my own.
